Sending an encrypted email

You can now send encrypted emails to external recipients, if you include ‘(en)’ anywhere in the subject the email will be encrypted.

The process is explained below

1. Ensure that (en) is included in the subject of the email and the recipient is external to the GDST.

2. The recipient will receive an email that will direct them to Barracuda, they will have to create an account to be able to view the encrypted message.

3. Once they have logged in, they will be able to read the email in the browser, but will not be able to reply, the sender will receive a notification that the email had been read.
