There are 2 emergency routes out of the building, please follow the green “running man” fire exit signs to your nearest exit. Fire wardens will direct staff to the stairs behind the passenger lift core on the east side of the building and also to the rear exit route through the locker area on the west of the building. Both these exit routes bring you to ground floor level where building management staff will direct you to the Fire Assembly point which is three minutes away in Westminster Cathedral Piazza.

Below directions to Westminster Cathedral Piazza and a Fire Assembly point plan shows the GDST occupier area on the upper left hand side as you face the Cathedral. Should anyone think they may have difficulty negotiating the stairs to the ground floor please let reception know in advance.

Key points to note:

· There will be a phased evacuation of the building at approximately with floors evacuating at 3 minute intervals.

· The 5^th floor is unlikely to be the first floor to be evacuated today however do have your building pass and coat ready just in case.

· Please follow the instructions from the voice command system and directions from your fire wardens who will be wearing high vis vests.

· Do not use the lifts.

· Ensure you make your way directly to the Fire Assembly Point and wait for further instructions.

· Do not return to the building for any reason until advised to do so.

· You will need your building pass to avoid delays when returning to the building.
