Hosting video conference calls
The solution you use for holding a phone call / video conference will depend on whom is attending. Cisco Jabber is great when calling someone on a phone number but Teams might be better for internal team meetings. If some of your team are in the office then the VC equipment and Jabber may be suited.
Note: IT are currently developing a system to allow MS Teams calls to be made from the meeting room video conferencing units. This article will be updated as soon as the system is fully operational.
The below should help you identify the best method for your particular call. Please contact the IT team if you have any questions.
Scenario 1
GDST phone call to someone not using MS Teams = Cisco Jabber
Scenario 2
GDST video call to someone not using MS Teams = Cisco Jabber
Scenario 3
